At today’s MAC Media Day held at Ford Field, the Toledo Rockets were selected by media members to win the West and MAC Championship. The Rockets have not won a MAC title since 2004. However, last season they made it to the Little Ceasar’s Bowl, where they fell in the final moments to Florida International.
Miami was picked to win the East. The Redhawks won the division last year and won the Godaddy.com Bowl, defeating Middle Tennessee State. Miami was the last team to repeat in the East accomplishing the feat in 2003-2004.
