The last two years have been a wild ride for the Ball State football program. Last season the Cardinals started off 12-0 and reached as high as 12 in the BCS rankings. After closing out last season with losses in the Mid-American Conference Championship game and the GMAC Bowl, the Cardinals started off 0-7 and 0-3 in the MAC.
